Lately, Epic Games has had some tough decisions to make regarding Fortnite skins, after the tragedy that took place last month at a Travis Scott concert. Releasing alongside the original pickaxe from the game, it seems Epic Games is often looking at its roots as much as it is looking forward to the next superhero or videogame character it can include. In November 2020 leakers discovered that the original default skins would be returning to the game as part of the launch of Chapter 2 Season 4. This won't be the first time Fortnite has returned original skins back into the game's store. Last week it was announced that another Marvel character would be joining the ranks of Fortnite's cast, as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D Nick Fury became available in the store. As the popularity of Fortnite has soared, film characters, videogame characters, and even real life people have all appeared within the game's store to be purchased as skins to be used while battling for that sweet victory royale. The Battle Royale has become synonymous with its skins.
